Every Sunday, we visit seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income neighbors in New York City who need a little help with their devices, Wi-Fi, or apps.

There's no catch. No sales pitch. Just neighbors helping neighbors.

Community Sundays

Our pilot program runs every Sunday in select NYC neighborhoods. We're testing and refining our service model before launching as a full nonprofit.

About Us

Support New York is a community-based volunteer project offering free digital and tech help to seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income neighbors in New York City.

We are not a nonprofit (yet) — but we're working toward it. Right now, our services are offered personally, by trained volunteers who care.

Our "Community Sundays" program is a pilot project. It helps us test and refine our service model before launching a full nonprofit organization. By working directly with the community, we learn what works, what's needed, and how to better serve.

We focus on:

✓Providing light tech support at home
✓Guiding seniors through common computer tasks (email, video calls, web forms)

Our Services

Support New York volunteers offer free help with everyday technology challenges. All services are provided on Sundays only.

Wi-Fi & Internet

Wi-Fi setup, troubleshooting connection issues

Smartphones & Tablets

Basic setup, installing apps, accessibility settings

Video Calls

Setting up Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp video calls

Email & Communication

Creating email accounts, sending attachments, calendar setup

Home Tech Help

Universal remote setup, battery replacement, cord organizing

Online Tasks

Filling out web forms, using YouTube, printing documents

Accessibility

Settings for low vision, hearing aids, mobility needs

Note: All services are free. We focus on low-risk, non-invasive help. We don't handle financial accounts, passwords, or repairs that could cause damage.
